    Trauma-informed support for anyone impacted by coercive control. Access online counselling with a community mental health practitioner from the comfort and privacy of your own home. Finding the right therapist can be challenging—especially for those recovering from religious trauma, high-control groups, or other forms of coercive control. Many mental health professionals, while well-meaning, simply aren’t trained to recognise the complex dynamics involved in these experiences. At Recover From Coercive Control, we understand that leaving a controlling environment is just the beginning. Real healing starts with being truly heard, believed, and supported by someone who understands the subtle manipulations, losses, and identity confusion that often follow.

  • Online Support Group

    You don’t have to process it alone. Join a safe, supportive community of individuals who understand what it’s like to live through coercive control and cult involvement. In these regular online support groups, participants share experiences, offer mutual support, and work together to reclaim a sense of agency, identity, and connection. The group is facilitated by a trauma-informed community mental health practitioner who understands the unique complexities of leaving a high-demand group.
