Service Description

Trauma-informed support for anyone impacted by coercive control. Access online counselling with a community mental health practitioner from the comfort and privacy of your own home. Finding the right therapist can be challenging—especially for those recovering from religious trauma, high-control groups, or other forms of coercive control. Many mental health professionals, while well-meaning, simply aren’t trained to recognise the complex dynamics involved in these experiences. At Recover From Coercive Control, we understand that leaving a controlling environment is just the beginning. Real healing starts with being truly heard, believed, and supported by someone who understands the subtle manipulations, losses, and identity confusion that often follow.
